Would love to hear an example of a theme a reader found that you didn't realize you put in there, and how you think it happened? Is it a theme you do think about but didn't realize was so invovled or was it a bit of a blindside?
I’ve been wracking my brain all week trying to remember. This was like three years ago. Maybe my theme of going through struggles with other people? It was something that I felt in my heart as I wrote, that came out on the page, but wasn’t planned ahead of time. And seeing someone else put it into words was like “Aha! That’s exactly what this is, isn’t it?” So I think it was there, but not something I had formed into a sentence on my own. Does that make sense?
